Initially, the owners wanted to remodel their home and stabilize it. Instead, they decided to raise the home and build a new one based on our design. Situated on a narrow lot, the original home was built in 1950. It had dark interiors and only west-facing windows which made the afternoons very uncomfortable for the home owners.
